Tools are made from
stone, bone wood. Then people learned and copper.
It took many centuries. In the distant Egypt in 2600 BC
constructed the pyramid of Cheops, the largest pyramid of Ancient Egypt.
It was difficult to imagine how the ancient people did not have
modern technology could build out of multi-ton stone blocks
enormous edifices. The pyramids are considered one of the seven wonders of the world.
Few people know that at the same time in the North Caucasus the local tribes

Speaking of “painted rocks” on Tom, we usually remember the Tomsk pisanyza. But it is only the first of eight located on this site. For forty-seven kilometers down stream of the Tom river here there’s a cave with petroglyphs arrays: Novoromanovskaya I and II, Cool I and II, the Hanging Stone, Nicholas, and closes ensemble Totalsa Pisanitsa. Doctor of historical Sciences Igor Kovtun says: “This last is a rocky massif on the Bank of the river Tom is also the last North-Western the location of rock paintings in Central and northwestern Asia. The sanctuary, close to Mayak, which was excavated in the Northern Caucasus, in early medieval Bulgaria. All of them are built on the principle of “square in square”, that is, inside a large rectangular or square structures there is less, if a rectangular square shape, inside of which a fire was burning. This is one of the characteristic traditions of the Turkic religious buildings where worship of fire, sun, light has occupied an important place.
In 1988 in the study of Vlasov Second burial ground of the bronze age and early iron age, situated 2 miles North of the village of Vlasivka of Gribanovsky area of the Voronezh region (excavations by A. T. Sinica and D. V. Berezutsky) revealed very interesting and totally unique building – underground labyrinth, construction area of about 254 square meters (the scheme ). Continue reading
